Dr. Ikjyot Singh Kohli is a theoretical and mathematical physicist and data scientist whose core research focuses on the structure and dynamics of Einstein’s field equations, general relativity, and dynamical systems theory. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics from York University in 2014, following an Honours B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Toronto in 2010.
Bridging academia and industry, he has built out and led the data science teams at several major companies. He is currently the CEO of Intelligent Machines Research Corporation where he leads the company in building advanced ML and mathematical models to predict the financial markets. His scientific accomplishments include authoring several publications on topics ranging from early-universe cosmologies to the intersection of dynamical systems and continuous-time recurrent neural networks. Read your post on Interstellar relativity…I did not understand it all but am humbled to recognise what others more intelligent than I can understand and amazed that as humans we have managed to understand so much so far. Still I am in awe about the fact that we still have no idea why we are here and what our end as a species can or will be.
